In a Jam

Well it’s been a long time coming but I finally finished another painting in my Cohabitate series. In a Jam is meant to start a thought or a conversation about the dwindling habitat for our wild animals as the city spreads out. Forest and farmlands are being devoured by the demand for housing which is really apparent in Durham Region and Clarington. I understand that people need to live somewhere and not many people can afford to live in Toronto anymore but what of the displaced animals?
